KwieKulik filmed the Olympic Games held in Moscow from their television screen. This project belongs to the series Demonstrations. The XXII Summer Olympic Games took part in Moscow, the capital of the then Soviet Union, between 19 July and 3 August 1980. The opening ceremony, held at the Luzhniki Stadium, was attended by Leonig Brezhnev, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The Moscow Olympiad was boycotted by many countries due to the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan.
